Introduction to the Diploma all Together && BBC BLAST- 10th of September.

Friday was a long diploma day, me and the rest of the class were all introduced to the Diploma all together. Today was a better day, quite interesting actually.. First and Second lesson I had DANCE, we were continuing on the topic from last lesson. But since we've already been introduced to it from the previous lesson, so this lesson we started on our Presentations, I ended up choosing  Microsoft Power Point for this project.
And just a REMINDER, incase you forgot from the last post but I was researching about Contemporary Dance in this presentation we had to include varies of pictures and information e.g
"What was Contemporary dance?", "Who created it?" ect. - I discovered it was created by many people for there is all different parts of Contemporary dance and how many techniques and complexes are used in this dance.

ANOTHER INTERESTING FACT ! :D..
Martha Graham did not actually create Contemporary dance but she used the same technique to turn it into a harsh and tensed dance, she uses many movements such as the contraction which is a HARSH movement.

Many of these websites were useful to get hold of the accurate information that I was LOOKIN FOR

and I CANNOT remember the rest of them right now,  but I used  WIKIPEDIA to help me find LOTS of information.

Overall this LESSON, I learnt tons about CONTEMPORARY DANCE and I also had fun.

                                                         BBC BLAST

Then, throughout the REST OF THE DAY was the BEST bit, Miss.Williams took us offsight to the Kennington Theatre House where the BBC SQUAD gave a taster of MEDIA including Apple Work Shop which included a various of ACTIVITY'S, we got a chance to test out the photo shop and change the effects of our images and ADD FONT and ect. Me and my friend Demi, then used the Morth setting to morth both out faces together, which was rather quite funny and INTERESTING. She downloaded it onto her phone and saved it as her screen saver. Another student which is a friend of mine named Shenell used a captured image of both ME AND HER to create a badge, we had one each. After that, i tried out the graffiti wall which wasn't so much interesting : /

But, I then decided since I had time why not try out one more thing.. So I tested out the Apple Guitar Music App, this was the BEST out of all of them, BECAUSE I mixed all different samples of beats and vocals to create an audio track which I sent to my phone and saved as my ringtone. After the hour was over, we said our thanks to the BBC BLAST for having such a GREAAATTT time, we received free stuff and set off back to school.
What an exciting ending to my day, that REALLY cheered up my mood :]
