My first day of school was GREAT! I Really enjoyed my first dance lesson, Miss.Shrubb is a GREAT teacher, and I am extremely excited about working with her and my classmates this year. So far we are working on our first unit, some people may find it difficult but if theres any thing ive learnt throught year 7.8 and 9 is that.. If you put your head down into your WORK and get on with it. You can learn to enjoy it, even at the "boring bits" and at the end, all the numbers will add up to a summary and a EXCCELLLEENNNT grade will be gained ! : )
In our first unit, we are starting with "Contemporary Dance" which involves a lot of Technique and Complex movements, it can be a very harsh catogory of dance to a very soft relaxed dance. Its classed as a Down-To-Earth dance, its very interested and I would love to learn more about this type of DANCE.
Firstly, we read a planning sheet of what we will be doing to organise our performance and a sheet of what to research. We were given the option to use Microsoft Word Processor Or Microsoft Office Powerpoint. Im not so sure yet, but on Friday I will decide what I want it to be presented on.
Although, not a lot of practical work was done this lesson, the AIM of the lesson was still achieved.
